From Tao one is born

from one two is born

from two three is born,

and from three all the forms of art

are born.

In an exhibition alongside Sabina Gamboa and Roberto Hayashi, we tried to show a quest for showing reality from the contraposition of light and shadow, greatly inspired by the ideas of the Oriental World. The title of the show homages the ideas of Jun'ichirō Tanizaki's essay on Japanese aesthetics, In Praise of Shadows.

The exhibition opened on Saturday October 4th of 2014, with an opening speech by Ariel Takeda, and the performance of Kokoro no Mai.

The show was supported by the Library of Santiago, DIBAM, the SNBP, the Chilean-Japanese Cultural Institute and the Ministry of Foreign Relations.
